Sky Wheel at Skyline Park, near Munich, Germany. This was the prototype coaster from Maurer Sohne (with a factory just up the road, also in Munich). The cars are slowly pulled up the vertical lift-hill, riders are then suspended upside down, before twisting 360 degrees, upside down again, before plummeting down the drop & through the station at high speed. The train then valleys backwards & forwards, before catching back onto the lift's chain, and is then slowly lowered back into the station. Click thumbnailed images to enlarge photos...
