Sega Joypolis is located near the Tokyo Teleport station. Among the latest arcade games & simulator rides are 2 'proper' rides!... Click thumbnailed image to enlarge photos...
SPIN BULLET - This used to be called 'Speed Boarder', and was a coaster you rode sideways... its now been fitted with spinning cars with very restrictive restraints which even keep your hands in place - its bit like being clamped to an electric chair! the coaster section has 2 lifts, and packs the most into its tiny space.
HALFPIPE CANYON - A stand-up, spinning, swinging, interactive ride! Now this is really cool!... Riders stand on 1 of 4 skateboards! The 'board' riders stand on rocks... the riders have to synchronise rocking the board with their feet as the board goes over a sensor at the bottom of the swing... if they both rock near the sensor, the board will rotate 180* when it gets to the top of the U-pipe & they score points... the winners are the 2 boarders with the most rotations!
