RIDGE RIDER

Ridge Rider... one for those coaster-counting enthusiasts! While staying in Barry, south Wales with Tinhead & Tina (www.dontlookdown.org), they were telling me about this contraption in their local park, well it sounded like a roller coaster to me... and I argue that it IS!!  You can see from the pics what it is... a complete circuit, you push the car to the top of an incline, get on, and then coast down the hill & around the corner (holding tight so as not to come flying off on said corner!!). It doesn't look very safe for kids, who will probably get their fingers ran over - and behold, immediately after I got off, some poor little girl fell off it...!  Click the thumbnailed images to enlarge...
