The Beer tents at Munich Oktoberfest are an eye opener, even for the non-drinker! Each tent holds an average of 10,000 people - there are 14 tents! 6 million people will pass through Oktoberfest during its 3 week run, and 6 million litres of beer will be consumed! Each tent has its own stage, outdoor 'Biergarten' area, hundreds of waiters & waitresses all in national costume. They will carry up to 5 litres of beer in each hand!
