MOVIE WORLD |
| MOVIE WORLD, Gold Coast, Australia. This is another in the Warner Bros chain of theme parks, and was the best of the Australian parks we visited on this trip. The main ride here is Superman Escape, alongside the new Batwing tower ride. Lethal Weapon is a suspended looping coaster from Vekoma, similar to Traumatizer & numerous clones with an additional helix before the brakes. Wild West Falls was a fun water flume ride, with a backwards drop and great themeing. The Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster was my favourite though, part ghost-train & part coaster this dark wild-mouse ride features a vertical lift, backwards sections, as well as the usual wild-mouse layout & numerous hairpin bends with special effects around every corner! Also pictures is Road Runner Roller Coaster, a Vekoma roller-skater family coaster. Click thumbnailed image to enlarge photos... |
