LUNA PARK SYDNEY |

Luna Park takes its name from its influence - the legendary park at
Coney Island, Luna's historic funhouse (1 of the few surviving
originals) is called 'Coney Island Funny Land'. The park has been home
to numerous roller coasters over its turbulent history, the last one
standing is its wooden wild mouse - 1 of 4 still operating worldwide, 3
of which are in Australia! The park was conceived upon completion of the
neighbouring Sydney harbour bridge, and is located on the site used to
store materials during construction of the bridge. The park has
suffered, yet survived many closures over the past few decades, and
still provokes many debates among local support groups & neighbours
