Post subject: Lightwater Valley Halloween event - Saturday 3rd November
PostPosted: Mon Jul 30, 2012 10:18 am
After the poll earlier on this year, we (Em and I) are planning on going to Frightwater Valley on the 3rd November.

Anyone up for this?

Park is open until 7pm and unlike last year, there are no Fireworks, so more time for mazes.

Kind of the same boat as Forp, if I can get adequate transport and so on, I'll happily to, but I doubt I'd hit the mazes, still a bit of a scaredy cat at heart for all the Halloween stuff out there.

If Col is doing it I'll be up for it as well. (I'll need a lift!)

yeah... I think the way to do this, will be to go Lightwater Valley on the Saturday 3rd, & Alton Towers for the fireworks on the Sunday 4th, or visa versa as I think I'd rather Q to leave Alton on Sat rather than Sunday!

Mum, Johno & I will be there!

Been wanting to go for ages, so now is the time to see how Lightwater do Halloween. At least we won't be charged extra for the mazes should we decide to go in at 4pm instead of 6pm. :disbelief

(possibly Nicola and Soph but she not decided yet) :D

The maze last year was actually rather decent. Plus Raptor Attack Live was great when Em and I went on it. It was JUST after they had gone from normal RA to RA:Live so all the actors were "fresh" so to speak and not a lot of people were on the ride, so we were walking up the exit path alone with 2 zombies ambling up behind us and 2 in front of us. Was great fun. Later on in the day, it wasnt as good from all accounts. :great

Then we should head for RA a soon as it goes Live! :D

I'm assuming all the rides close once darkness decends?

Some of the rides do close, but most stay open. The Ultimate closes at dusk. Quite understandable really as there are no lights out there if it broke down on the 2nd lift !!! :scared

Count us in. Debz, Elise and myself had already planned for Frightwater Valley Saturday and Alton Towers Fireworks Sunday.

It's looking like we'll be in for Frightwater - not sure about Fireworks.

Pete - any space in the car, or has Runt bagsed it? :D
