Dreamland Margate is home to the
Scenic Railway - the oldest surviving wooden coaster in the UK. Sadly
however, the ride was severely damaged by fire in 2008. The
Save Dreamland
campaign have been hard at work for years, and have plans to open a
Heritage amusement park on the site. The Save Dreamland campaign have also
acquired the wooden wild mouse ride formerly at Southport, and parts from
the water chute in Rhyl, among other attractions, which will hopefully take
passengers again. Please support the
Save Dreamland
