| FEBRUARY 2009 - Eric, Jan & I head out for a couple of winter walks, over Malham (not pictured), and shown here at Entwistle reservoir, where we also took a detour around a disused quarry, and reminiscent of Narnia, we eat Turkish delight in the woods!... |

| DREAM! - A peculiar object now overlooks the M62 near St Helen's... what do YOU think it looks like?... |

| Closer inspection reveals it is a giant elongated head... its called 'Dream', sits on an old coalfield, and is supposed to represent the area's mining history...??!! ROFL The northwest's answer to Angel of the North?? - well, Channel 4 (who are behind the project) hope so! |

| I spend a day in Blackpool, and head over to Cleveley's on a nostalgic visit to the seafront, where I spent much time as a child. Its changed a lot, and has a similar new seafront to Blackpool & Southports'. The kiddie fair remains too... |

| Its a race to the top of the hill (which Eric won), so I was pleased to see a horse chasing him once we were up there! LOL Views across the Peaks from the moors near the reservoir... |
