| APRIL 2008 - Harry & I went to Southport 1 afternoon, looking over to Blackpool... |

| While in Southport, we'd been discussing the remnants of Liverpool's garden festival, so decided to call in & explore whats left of the park... |

| Which wasn't a lot! A summit offers nice views across Liverpool, and the Mersey estuary, to the industrial zone near Chester... |

| Tony & I spent an afternoon in the Yorkshire Dales, exploring Bolton Abbey, Goredale Scar & Malham Cove before a fish & chip supper at the new Banny's in Colne. Pictured here, walk to Bolton Abbey, grounds, and St Mary's church, the only part of Bolton Abbey left intact after the reformation of the Church... and its a local tradition to hammer money into fallen trees... |

| Cal, Fraser, Ian & I meet up with fellow members from the coaster club, and have a picnic at Wicksteed Park, Kettering... |

| Congrats to my cousin Lisa & her partner Bez, on baby Leigh's christening... |

| AUGUST 2008 - I go to Weston Super Mare to see the pier after the recent fire... |

| I then head over the bridge to Wales to visit Tinhead, Tina & Wes, who took me to their local parks... |

| SEPTEMBER 2008 - Cal, Fred & I spend an afternoon on the Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, and see the illuminations... |

| OCTOBER 2008 - Nick & I meet up with coaster clubbers, Cal & Fraser, Kev, Johnno & Linda, its my birthday & we're all at Thorpe Park trying out the Halloween mazes... |
