July - Its Deb's 40th on the 12th, Tony, Claire, Lisa, Deb, Megan & me set out for a glorious day on the beach at Southport. In the evening I couldn't be so colse & not get Deb & the girls to try a few rides at Pleasureland... |

August - Its fathers' 60th birthday and he'll be in Las Vegas. Mother & I have arranged for me to join them, so I take the opportunity of being in America to do some coaster riding! I also get to meet my coaster pen-pals Dale & Jamie. see US Rides feature & US '03 trip page for more. The weather at home is unusually great, so Amanda & I had fun on the beach at Southport, firstly, silly cow locking my car keys in the car! And then we got chatting with a guy who invited me to fly this wonderful 150ft dragon kite, handmade in China... |

September, mother & I are invited to be contestants on BBC2's Ready Steady Cook! Tony came down with us, after the filming we strolled up the Thames to Tower bridge, where magician David Blaine is suspended in a glass box attrempting to be without food & water for several weeks. No-one seems impressed and no-one knows why he's up there!... |
