The Wild Mouse was built in 1958 by the Pleasure Beach staff, and extensively refurbished in 2008, this is one of only 3 wooden mice remaining in the world. The others are at Luna Park Sydney, and another at Aussie World, both in Australia. Another wooden mouse, formerly at Morecambe & Southport, is currently in storage with the Save Dreamland campaigners.
