The Alton Beast was a Schwarzkopf Jetstar 2 ride. It started work at the towers as the original Black Hole and was kicked out when the larger Jetstar 3 arrived and moved into the tent. The Beast was then relocated to the back of the Towers, along with the Mouse. Again, the victim of local complaints the ride was moved again, this time to where AIR now is in the Forbidden Valley, before being shipped back to Germany to be refurbished.
