Wien Prater is home to a number of Geister Bahns (Ghost Trains), funhouses, carousels, and other antique & brand new rides. So much so this is practically an amusement park museum, and well worth a trip to Vienna. The city's art presence is strong here to, there are a variety of sculptures and paintings dotted around the site, street artists and performers are also popular here. Within Wien Prater is the republic of Kugelmugel. It is actually recognised as a separate state, and although inhabited only by 1 resident, has its own currency, stamps, laws & customs! |
